Media releases issued by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs range from product safety warnings to the effect of government policy decisions on consumers, to educative feature articles on current issues.

The Ministry also produces A Word of Advice, a fortnightly column for community newspapers, which aims to educate consumers in their rights, or inform them about a current issue or law change.

We produce a newsletter Consumer Affairs three times a year.

Remember, if you plan to use an article or information from articles more than three months old, please contact us to verify the currency and accuracy of the information. We want you to be certain the information you use is not out of date.
